When we are in love, we are willing to do just about anything to please the people we love. We find ourselves more willing to go through shits and sacrifices to make them feel happy being with us and love us.
Now, why haven’t we done just about the same thing for Allah s.w.t? Why haven’t we gone through so much to plese Him? Don’t we want Him to love us too as much as (or even better, more than) our partner loves us?
The only difference is that He never asks us to go through shits for Him. And… we never thought of going through shits for Him.
So, just how much is our love for Him…. as opposed to our love for our girlfriends/boyfriends? How much are we willing to sacrifice for Him?
